Mike Mignola
Mike Mignola is best known for his comic book creations Hellboy and the B.P.R.D. He is considered by some to be the best designer working in comic books today. Alan Moore describes his work as a union between German Expressionism and Jack Kirby (another great comic book artist). Mignola utilizes strong graphic shapes to produce a narrative that not only carries an intriguing and entertaining story, but is beautiful to look at as well.
